Servers for computing
The Electron Microscope Unit has several server-class computers for data processing of the microscope data.
Some of these are set up for Stereo viewing, with a high performance graphics card and a 120Hz display, suitable for use with stereo glasses.
Others have multiple graphics cards inside, as many of the programs in use for analysis can use the GPUs for processing rather than graphics.
